After being picked up by our coach, board on the Glass Bottom vessel at the “Athinios” Port. Start the trip with first destination the Volcano, a distance of about 15-20 minutes sailing. The stop will be aprox. 1 hour and 15 minutes.
It takes about 20 minutes to reach the active craters through a walkable path. Reaching the top gives you the possibility to see the steam coming out the earth (prove of the Volcano activity), smell the sulfur and also to take amazing panoramic pictures. After the visit to Nea Kameni, the official name of the Voclano, the boat continues to the island of Palaia Kameni to stop at the Hot Springs. The boat anchors a few meters outside the small bay of Agios Nikolaos, and from there it takes a distance of about 20 meters swimming to reach the famous mud baths which are believed to have beneficial abilities for the skin. The boat remains here for about 30 minutes for swimming time.
The boat continues sailing to the island of Thirassia. Here guests will have 2 hours free time to swim in the crystal waters of Korfos or enjoy lunch in one of the traditional taverns. There is the possibility too to reach the village of Manolas either on foot or by donkeys, which is a very picturesque traditional settlement with narrow streets and nice views of Santorini and definitely it is worth a visit. After the 2 hours of pleasant break on the island of Thirassia, the vessel returns back to the port sailing near the volcanic cliffs of Oia to take pictures of the unique landscape.
Once you return at the port at 16:30 our buses will drive passengers back to the original meeting points.
